Have a track and field athlete between the ages of 8 and 13? The Valley Royals JD (junior development) program starts Tuesday, March 29. Running and field sport experience is not necessary, as Valley Royals is an inclusive club, accepting athletes of all abilities. Join us for three practices a week, all at Rotary Stadium.
A big congratulations goes out to Riley Simmonds, Arata Nakanishi, and Zoe Unger who were recently awarded by BC Athletics for finishing 2nd (Arata and Riley) and 3rd (Zoe) in their respective divisions in the Lower Mainland Cross Country Series. These athletes received very nice plaques that helped brighten up winter training. Well done, Royals!
